The Disney/ABC Television Group is composed of The Walt Disney Company’s (NYSE: DIS) global entertainment and news television properties, owned television stations, and radio and publishing businesses. This includes ABC Entertainment Group, ABC News, ABC Owned Television Stations Group, Disney Channels Worldwide, ABC Family, and SOAPnet, as well as Disney/ABC Domestic Television and Disney Media Distribution. Publisher Hyperion and the Company’s equity interest in A+E Networks round out the Group’s portfolio of media businesses.

U.S. Television Network:ABC Television Network
ABC Television Network provides broadcast programming to more than 220 affiliated stations across the U.S. The Network encompasses ABC News, which is responsible for news programming on television and other digital platforms, and ABC Entertainment Group, a partnership between ABC Studios and ABC Entertainment responsible for the network’s daytime, primetime, and late-night entertainment programming. ABC’s multiplatform business initiative includes the Interactive Emmy Award-winning broadband player on ABC.com.

ABC Owned Television Stations Group
The ABC Owned Television Stations Group, which reaches 23% of U.S. television households, includes WABC-TV in New York; KABC-TV in Los Angeles; WLS-TV in Chicago; WPVI-TV in Philadelphia; KGO-TV in San Francisco; KTRK-TV in Houston; WTVD-TV in Raleigh-Durham, NC; and KFSN-TV in Fresno, CA. Among other Group businesses are ABC National Television Sales, a sales representation unit for the owned stations as well as outside clients, and the Live Well Network, a broadcast, online and wireless programming service for digital channels in local markets.

ABC Entertainment Group
Formed in 2009, the ABC Entertainment Group, comprised of ABC Entertainment and ABC Studios, develops and produces compelling programming across all day parts for both national and international broadcast and digital platforms, as well as for national syndication. ABC Studios' current hits include "Army Wives" (Lifetime), "Castle," "Cougar Town" (TBS), "Criminal Minds" (CBS), "Grey's Anatomy," "Nashville," "Once Upon a Time," "Perception" (TNT), "Revenge" and "Scandal." The ABC Television Network is also home to the Emmy-winning "Modern Family" and comedy favorite "The Middle"; reality phenomenon "Shark Tank" and long-running hit "Dancing with the Stars"; "General Hospital," which just celebrated its 50th anniversary on the network, along with daytime talk shows "The View," "Katie" and "The Chew"; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," which successfully launched its new 11:35 p.m. time period earlier this year. ABC Family’s programming is a combination of network-defining original series and original movies, quality acquired series and blockbuster theatricals. Emmy® Award-winning ABCFamily.com provides a variety of interactive entertainment and community features, from rich, fan-centric programming – including blogs, viewing parties, webisodes, and full episodes of the network’s hit programming – to sneak peek exclusive previews and behind-the-scenes clips. ABC Family is also the destination for annual Holiday events with “13 Nights of Halloween” and “25 Days of Christmas.” The network’s millennial-focused content became available to Canadian audiences in Spring 2012 through an expansive licensing agreement with Corus Entertainment that launched ABC Spark.

ABC News is responsible for all of the ABC Television Network’s news programming, including “World News Tonight with Diane Sawyer,” “Nightline,” “Good Morning America,” “20/20,” “This Week with George Stephanopoulos,” ABC News Radio, ABCNews.com, and satellite service NewsOne. An award-winning team provides the latest information and analysis of major events to bring viewers a big-picture understanding of the world. A premier news and information alliance between ABC News and Yahoo! News blends the Network’s global news-gathering operation and unrivaled lineup of trusted anchors and reporters with the digital media company’s vast distribution and cutting-edge technology to reach up to 100 million people in the U.S. each month on PCs, mobile devices and tablets. In addition, ABC News and Univision News have formed a joint venture to launch a multiplatform news, information and entertainment service to deliver culturally relevant programming in English to U.S. Hispanics, the youngest and fastest growing demographic in the U.S.

Disney Channels Worldwide
Disney Channels Worldwide is a global portfolio of over 100 kid-driven, family-inclusive entertainment channels and/or channel feeds available in 169 countries/territories, in 35 languages. The platform brands are Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Disney XD, Disney Cinemagic, Hungama, and Radio Disney. The group's multiplatform strategy includes subscription video-on-demand; content-rich broadband websites DisneyXD.com, DisneyJunior.com, DisneyChannel.com and RadioDisney.com, as well as authenticated TV+ products available through apps for mobile and tablet devices. Disney Channel content is distributed through cable, satellite and digital terrestrial television channels and via a strategic partnership with Disney Media Distribution to third party broadcasters across the globe. Disney Channel properties continue to rapidly expand into new markets across the world, playing a key role in introducing the Disney brand to over 600 million unduplicated viewers worldwide.
Disney ABC Domestic Television
Disney-ABC Domestic Television is the content distribution arm for The Walt Disney Company within the United States and Canada. An industry leader, the division provides The Walt Disney Company’s branded and non-branded top-tier motion picture and television programming to a wide spectrum of traditional and new media platforms.
Disney Media Distribution
Disney Media Distribution (DMD) is responsible for the international distribution of The Walt Disney Company's branded and non-branded content to all platforms, encompassing television, broadband, and mobile outlets.
With strong demand for DATG content around the world, DMD is currently selling programming into more than 220 international markets, and this success has allowed DMD to pre-sell a number of new series globally before they air on the network.
DMD's content portfolio includes feature films, scripted and reality series, live-action and animated kids content, ABC News, and specials such as the Annual Academy Awards®. DMD also oversees channel distribution worldwide for Disney-branded channels, such as Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior, as well as ESPN-branded channels, including ESPN Classic and ESPN America.
Hyperion Books publishes general-interest fiction and non-fiction hardcover, trade, and mass-market paperback books for adults and includes the Voice, Hyperion eBook and Hyperion Audio imprints. Hyperion publishes about 80 hardcover, paperback and original eBooks a year, and offers many of its titles as audio books through its Hyperion Audio division.
